Pursuing the set up for my home "theatre" I've come to the point of antennas
and know there are people out there who've had experience with these and I've
seen Terk's name mentioned for example.

    (1) I've had bad experience with the interior FM antennas that West etc sell.
What is the best route - will a Terk premium amplified antenna such as the
AF-1 do as good a job as an external marine FM antenna such as that sold by
Shakespeare? Naturally I would find an interior antenna more convenient but
can run a wire up to the fly bride hardtop for yet another antenna - maybe
    replace my old Loran..

    (2) Do I need to go to an external antenna such as the Terk SIR-4Clip mount
for Sirius or XM sat reception ?

Thanks as always to you guys...
