There was an extensive thread on another forum about Xelogen bulbs. These are
direct replacements for G4 bi-pin halogen bulbs, the advantages being that
they operate at far lower temperatures, have alonger life, and don't require the
"no-touch" special handling of the halogen bulbs. A Google search would no
doubt turn up addtional info.
