TWL: using a fuel pump as an oil transfer pump

    If you go to the REVERSO site you will see reference to oil impellers
    (Nitril) and "fuel proof" impellers. Though the material in the latter is not
    described I believe it is
    Delrin. At one time I had a REVERSO pump fitted as part of a fuel
    transfer/polishing system and blew through a bunch of Nitril impellers until I got one
    made of the correct material, then no problems. I also have one of their pumps
    in an oil transfer system (plumbed into main engine, transmission and
    generator) and have not had to replace the impeller for probably 4-5 years.
