from loading up with ordinary crud. >
Not sure that's a good idea. The manufacture of paper includes the use
of all sorts of nasty chemicals in the digestion and bleaching
processes. Paper products that are intended for contact with food/water
for human consumption have to meet health/safety standards. I believe
toilet paper is manufactured with a different intended purpose in mind.
You can probably find other paper prefilters that might be more
appropriate.
