A little more up front?? My catalogs show such lights at $100 to
$200 each! If you have a reasonable source, cough it up.
Specifics sure are a help here. Please give prices or even
ballparks any time you suggest something is reasonable or, "a
little more". Saving some money and buying good products while
giving the bad ones a miss are one of my main reasons for being
on TWL. And there have been some great suggestions.

I just bought some very nice LED night-lights in red and white,
made by ABI, and sold at Sailor's Exchange here in St. Augustine,
FL, for $7 and $8 each. The white ones press into a 1.375" hole,
are reasonably bright (for night-lights), contain 3 LED's, and
use 13ma at 12 volts. The red ones surface mount, look like
truck or trailer clearance lights, contain 8 LED's, and burn 35
ma while making an impressive red light, very suitable for
lighting the way to the head or illuminating steps or ladders.
My old, incandescent night light at the step-up to the forward
cabin burned 300 ma and made less light.

    headed to Daytona Beach tomorrow.
