TWL: RADAR DEFLECTORS

    With all the talk about radar deflectors,, I was just thinking. Almost all airplanes carry transponder.. A transponder, electronically sends a signal back to the radar which is interrogating the plane.. Does anyone know if there is a marine radar deflector which incorporates a transponder? Seems to me if a transponder were used, there would be no doubt about being seen.. It could be connected to an audible alarm in case no one was watching the scope...
    As i understand it,a transponder is not so complected or expensive that they could not fulfill this task on boats.. Just thinking out loud...
