We've used Soltron in Seahawk III engines since 2001. Immediately I
noticed that our Volvo TAMD60C engines smoked considerably less and I
thought they ran smoother, although I'm not a scientist and this is
purely subjective. Our fuel consumption appeared to go down. Our Racor
filters picked up a lot more "black" stuff noticed in our annual filter
changes. I assume that is a good thing. We use approx 500 gal per year.
Next year we'll have a long trip in the boat so I guess we'll find out of
this "stuff" is all it's cracked up to be. We've also heard that the
company is no longer doing business. --- John Hinshaw Seahawk III San
    Diego.
