I started using Soltron this summer in my boat. I haven't been having any
problems since I had the tanks polished 2 1/2 years ago, but just wanted to
assure I didn't. So far, I've ran about 400 or 500 gallons through (2-240
gal tanks) with no problems at all. Haven't changed filters (2 micron Racor
500's) & don't show any increase in vacuum.
By the way, we use the boat enough to burn about 100 to 150 gallons a month,
so the fuel doesn't sit around too awfully long. I'm sure that helps a
bunch.
