    But seriously folks. If you get a bad cut there is nothing better than
    strong Cayenne pepper to seal the wound, stop it bleeding, and hasten
    recovery. We own a restaurant and have used it many times when kitchen help
    get a bad cut. Something to keep in mind when you have that accident in
    no-man's-land with no medical help available. Having cleaned if necessary,
    coat the wound liberally with the strong Cayenne and bind it up. Some days
    later the dried blood that soaked into the pepper will leave a crusty lump
    that will come off cleanly.
