For those of you with blow-boats (dinghies) you might consider carrying
a VHF and survival kit onboard. After watching people trying to row an
inflatable against a 20knot wind after their outboard quit in New Harbor
Block Island, I'd hate to have to try it in Georgetown!
You can take my Carolina skiff, but you'll have to pry it from my cold
dead fingers!
