A different style "insurance " is at your local Racor dealer.
They have a kit that installs between the tank top overflow and the over
flow fitting that sticks thru the hull side.
There about $50 and quick to install.
Beats the simpler/cheaper method of unhooking the vent line and having
the fuel vent into the bilge , for disposal overboard where the sheen
police aren't.
