A quick note on the 2000/2001. As of last year (end of '01) the overcoat
times can go as far as 2 weeks between coats (except when the first anti
fouling is applied). Just be sure the can reflects this and you don't get
old stock. I believe when you did the 6 coats it was one long weekend and
then some due to strict overcoat times. I repaired about 500+ blisters this
past winter and then West system'd the hull twice, then 5 coats of
2000/2001. No reports to date as we splashed in July '03. I've heard
Interprotect is highly recommended.
And BTW, our boat weighed 43000 lbs when hauled, 38000 when it went back in.
All factors remained the same except the hull was dried. 47' in the water
since '82 with only short hauls for bottom paint.

<<<<<I have been very satisfied with Interprotect 2000/2001. After repairing
300
blisters, I sanded the entire below waterline area with 80 grit paper then
applied 6 layers of Interprotect. The application schedule is critical.
Successive
coats must be applied before the previous coat entirely cures. Before the
last coat cured, I applied the first layer of antifouling paint. That was
six
years ago. No problems to date.>>>>>
