Al, I am considering spraying Signature but the roll job came out so well it
would be hard to beat. Half my boat (hull)was sprayed with Awlgrip and the
other half (house)rolled very thin with Signature.
I have sprayed Awlgrip and Imron and runs were always a problem. The rolling
out of Signature is labour intensive because you have roll it out thinly,
being careful not to leave any voids and you will want to buff it to get a sprayed
on look but you sure don't have to deal with runs, etc.
I guess it all depends on how much time, money and energy you have! For me, I
have found that it is too damn expensive to have yards maintain my 30 year
old trawler. If I take my time, I can do almost as good a job as the pros. I
wonder if anyone on the list has sprayed Signature.
