TWL: zeroing vacuum gauge

I have a Racor panel mounted vacuum gauge running from near my fuel filter (
I have an in-line ball valve) to my instrument panel. My problem is when I
turn off the engine my needle is well into the yellow range and does not
zero out. I know that the gauge that replace a T handle has a procedure for
this but there does not seem to be a similar procedure for panel mounted
gauges. I would appreciate hearing from anyone that has found a way to
solve this problem. Thanks. -Jim OCTOBER 1988 Monk 36
