    'Lo All,

I ran a crewboat for a short time in the "Oil Patch" a few years ago. The
company used only Raytheon radars as they swore by them. Those were made by
JRC. When I was looking for a radar for Celestial, I asked the boat company
if they still used Raytheon/Raymarine - they said yes. So....I purchased a
Raymarine radar system with dual monitors and installed it myself per
Raymarine's instructions. I also integrated it with the GPS. It has given
me flawless performance. In fact, it does more than I thought it would, as
all the capabilities of the 10" CRT (MARPA, etc.) are available on the
waterproof 7" LCD that I have for the upper helm.

I have not had any reason to contact Raymarine's Tech Help, so I can't
    comment on that.
