I have tried to avoid making a comment on the wake thread. It's an
international problem I assure you, but Jim's post finally got to me!
Of course there are rude, thoughtless or just plain stupid people who have
no conception of good manners
or consideration for others, however we have chosen to have our fun in
BOATS.
IMHO, a boat should always be "secured for sea". To do otherwise is to
ignore that fact that we choose to
enjoy our leisure (or lives) on a three dimensional medium, which will
certainly at some time, provide a less than stable platform.
In my part of the world, this is more the rule than the exception, but
regardless of geography I believe "an ounce of prevention......." is the
answer.
