Sorry about suggesting the humidifier drain into the bilge. I must have
received a dozen objections. On my boat there simply isn't room to place a
dehumidifier on the counter so I used to put it in the head and let it drain into the
shower hole which in turn drains into the bilge. I moderated my guilt by the
fact that the automatic bilge pump ran frequently to take care of the drips
through the stuffing box which in turn diluted the fresh water coming from the
dehumidifier and the deck leaks. Now that I live in the NorthEast and keep my
boat at a mooring, dehumidifier useage is becoming a dim memory.
