While not 'crewing' in the same sense, I have a
request to make of the LIST.
I am helping an older gentleman gear up for some long
range cruising. He is a very spry and clear-headed 80
year old man, seasoned sailor; and bought a 35 foot
South African built catamaran at the last Annapolis
sailboat show.
He intends to cruise this fall from New Bern, NC down
to at least the Virgin Islands. He is not wealthy but
can pay some of the expenses of someone to accompany
him. At his age, he really needs a companion.
If any of you know someone who may have interest in
the voyage, please contact me privately.
