In addition to St. Pete/Clearwater area, look north (Tarpon Springs) and
south to the Manatee River (Bradenton/Palmetto). Liveaboard marinas are getting
harder to find and more expensive. We "winter" at Regatta Pointe in Palmetto
where it is now $11.50/foot plus $125 liveaboard fee plus $35 "slip fee" (don't
ask) plus metered electricity. Good luck.
