I didn't renew my subscription to PMM - too much new product hype and not
enough do-it-yourself type information for me.
A magazine that I have really come to like is the DIY Boat Owner
Magazine -The Marine Maintenance Magazine. This month's issue can be seen

The magazine has a good balance between improvement/maintenance articles and
new products. It also has a great reader comment section. Articles in this
