We have one all chain and one rode with 15' of chain. We have spare
anchors all over the place, but a plow and a SuperMax are currently on
the bow. The instructions that came with the SuperMax said it does not
need chain and, in fact, they didn't recommend it. (This is my
recollection anyway) That means if we want to use the SuperMax as our
primary anchor, we don't get the ease of that nice length of chain. Do
any of you use the SuperMax with all chain? With what result? If not,
why not?
