I don't know if it will work or not, but one of the best remedies for
removing skunk stink from a dog is Crest toothpaste (not Tomato Juice as
the older wive's tale goes), so it might work for squid stink too. Just
tell your freezer to smile and scrub it with Crest, working the paste
into all the cracks. Cheap too. (No connection with Crest - just a
owner of a not-smelly dog).
