    FWIW, 33 years ago Grand Banks (or somebody) had the forethought to think
    about fuel spillage out the tank vents. All three of my tank vents have a
    loop in them that takes them out of the engine room, well above deck
    level, then back into the engine room and out through the hull. The port
    side vent is visable under the galley sink. The two starboard side vents
    are behind the dining settee. With this arrangement fuel can not possibly
    spill out the vent as it would come out the deck fill first because it is
    lower than the loop. I only have to worry about what might come out the
    deck fill.
