Georgs and others,
May be it shall develop into a big adventure...
Unfortunately, we can't ask the Vikings that were passing through the
same "interesting ways". Too many vanished on the dangerous legs
between Iceland and Greenland as well as in the Labrador Sea.
Keep trawlering in safe waters.

Sounds like one of those record attempts that appears to have dubious
merit--unless it turns into a huge adventure.
A well-found trawler yacht with limited range might consider the
four-leg route for an interesting way of getting across the pond:
Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Battle Harbour, Labrador
Battle Harbour, to Nanortalik, Greenland
Nanortalik, Greenland, to Reykjavik, Iceland
Reykjavik, Iceland, to Cape Wrath, N. Scotland.
