"The Arnold & Son Trans Atlantic Arctic Expedition aims to set a
World Record for the first complete crossing of the North Atlantic
just south of the Arctic Circle in an 'open' rigid inflatable boat
(RIB)."
Didn't Roald Amundsen do essentially the same trip in a small sailboat, the
Gjoa, in 1904?
And of course the Vikings did it 1000 years earlier. But they were red headed
- so I guess it doesn't count.
