    Hi Arild.
I was interested to read your comments re Decca. I have one, an 060 with
    video processor 3.
The handbook shows it as being commissioned and tested on March 23, 1981.
It came with the boat and has given great service.
It stopped working recently and the tech found a problem with a power supply
in the radome. He fixed it and we're back in business bigger and better than
    ever, and just $240 lighter.
Like you I was surprised at the lack of corrosion inside the dome and the
    obviously robust build quality.
When the problem occured I asked whether it was worth fixing, or whether I
should simply buy a new unit. The tech said that if the problem was only the
power supply, the old Decca would give a few of the modern units a run for
their money, and I should save mine! ( money, that is)
Sure, tuning is a bit of an art, but this old CRT radar has great clear
pictures and has got me through a couple of tight spots.
I'm actually rather fond if it and whilst it's not as pretty as the newbies,
it has an agricultural sort of charm. And as I said, 22 years later it still
    works fine.
    Cheers
    Glenn.
