A dock neighbor is having trouble with his Cetrek autopilot, power helm 770.
He has had no luck finding info about Cetrek except in England, and that they
have apparently been bought out by Teleflex Morse. There are a few phone
numbers but he has not been able to speak to a real person yet. Is there
anyone out there that has some current info as to service for these things in
    the USA?
I hope this is not another example of the MBA running a good company down.

    Afraid so!

One of my customers is a personal friend of a very senior VIP in Teleflex Morse.
That VIP had the autopilot upgraded on his own personal boat.
He gave my customer the old brain box, sensors etc. for a 770
The assumption being that the customer's original hydraulic pump would
    interface with the Cetrek.
The installer left one of the connecting cables behind so we had to get a
    replacement.
That took six months despite the intervention and assistance of the VIP at
    Teleflex Morse.
We are still waiting for some additional interface information before I can
    finish the installation.

But what else can you expect from a large multi national company.
