Craig....
That would be....me -- hardly a new member, but new to the job. I've
accepted the mantle, and so far, results are somewhat gratifying. I've
attached below the post I sent out a couple of weeks back detailing the
ordering procedure. Additionally, you can reference www.trawlerworld.com
where all the info also resides. I look forward to hearing from you.

Ahoy, Shipmates!
Last week Georgs posted an announcement that the TWL Burgees are now once
again available. This is true.
He also included an apology "...for taking forever to reorganize burgee
operations...". Of course, we all know the man just sits at home sipping
latte in the morning, regularly attends the theatre, and once a week or so
calls his architect to see how that new boat is coming along. Sheesh!!
Suffice it to say that on a plate as full as Georgs', the Burgees were like
a LaSeur pea that unobtrusively rolls off the back edge of the plate, and
once having rolled, remains below the rim, out of site and un-noticed by the
principal, but glaringly obvious and increasingly distracting to those
across the table. Good Heavens! Call the Staff! What shall we do?
In any event, enough of that! The TWL Burgees are, in fact, available once
again!
These burgees are of very high quality and steadfast colors. The size is
nominally 12" x 18", but in actuality they come out a little larger. I've
had mine for three years with no noticeable fading or wear, but I'm in New
England, where the season is short and the sunshine non-aggressive. The
heavyweight denier (#400, I think) will stand up to all manner of wear
abuse. Edges are hemmed and triple stitched. Header is a doubled nylon
"canvas", with multiple stitching and brass grommets. The design is NOT
silk-screened, but is actually pieced and stitched onto the burgee body.
The price for the TWL Burgee is just $25 each, including shipping and
handling. That's a very reasonable price for a unit of this quality -- only
.025 BU!!
Ordering is easy. To order, send me a check or money order (payable in US
dollars) totaling $25 for each Burgee ordered. Unfortunately, I am not able
to handle either credit cards or non-US funds, so you must send either a
check or a money order payable in US dollars. If, by chance, you want to
order several burgees, email me and we'll figure out reduced shipping.
Make the check or money order payable to me personally, John Gaquin. That
way, I can abscond with the Burgee funds, buy my Nordhavn, and head for
Costa Rica. Adios!!
Send your order to:

I'm taking orders now (finally), and the first order will be placed with the
manufacturer approximately March 1st, sooner if there is a substantial
number of orders. There are approximately 1000 Listoids out there, so I
expect 800-900 orders within the next few weeks!! I anticipate the first
burgees will be shipped to individuals before April 1st.
All of this is pretty well explained on the Trawlerworld webpage at
http://www.trawlerworld.com/burgee.htm (without, of course, my wit and
panache).
I expect to hear from each of you very soon. Get those cards and letters
moving!!
Wishing you all blue skies, fair breezes, and calm seas, I remain
Your Humble Servant,
John Gaquin
