A local marine electronics firm makes the point that the tinned wire that
they employ has a higher temperature rating than Anchor wire. I have no clue
whether this is a significant factor in selecting pleasure boat wire. If I
were worried about wire smoking or burning in living space, I would then say
that Teflon-coated "plenum" wire would be appropriate. So I wonder why they
use - I think the brand was ?Barco?.
