Subject: TWL: Removing Screws

I take the coward's way out and use a plug cutter larger than the old
bung. Popping out the plug exposes the screw, usually enough to
unscrew, if not "Mr. Vice-Grips" will usually twist it out. Repair
consists of a yet larger bung.
