The 3 piece set offered by Sears will only tear up bronze or any other
"soft" screw. These bits work well on hard drywall screws and similar.
Haven't tried them on Type 304 or 316 stainless. I have gotten the old style
drill and reverse screw extractors to work on bronze. However, if any screw,
especially "bronze" has been power-driven into fiberglass, it is likely that
the fiberglass melted and reformed around the screw. This is what happened
to me on my Dyer 29 toerail. Only every third screw came out and the rest
broke-off.
