Subject: TWL: Bung Removal

In the recent discussion of bung removal/screw removal, I don't recall
seeing mention of the method that a Hatteras worker showed me a couple
of years ago. Simply take a wood screw and drive it, either by hand or
with a power driver, through the center of the bung. When the tip of
the screw contacts the head of the screw beneath, it backs the bung out
of the hole just as slick as you please with, so far, no damage to the
surrounding wood.
