<<My question is what is the opinion of the trawler world of having olny
one large dedicated bed room, one large head, nice sized laundry room
and galley. It would basically be a two person boat with covertable
space for the occasional guest or two. Is there a resale market for
such a design. What do you think?

We have two heads. The one in our stateroom is an electro-san MSD. The
forward, guest head, has a holding tank. Most of the time, up and down
the east coast, we use the electro-san. It is a great convenience not
having to worry about pumping out. But the Florida keys are a "no
over-board discharge" zone. We've closed up the through-hull fittings
and turned off the power to the electro-san and are using the forward
head to comply. I think this is a great set up. Convenience most of
the time and legal the rest.

So if you are going to cruise the Florida keys (and I believe some Great
Lakes) you might consider two heads and two options.
