TWL: Insurance

OK I see Phil's point. A life fully lived is not without risk. I cruised
some 40,000 miles, including transatlantics, from "borderline" places in
South America to Newfoundland and along the coast of Europe. I did this
for 7 years or so full time during my first "retirement" in the 70's.
Frankly I could not afford the insurance that was quoted for this kind
of cruising, and my budget was very slim. I also subscribed to the
thought that the difference between and traveller and a tourist is that
the latter is insured.
