TWL: To experienced woodworkers: HELP!

I'm preparing to repair/rebed a leaking teak frame window. The teak and
it's screws (Phillips head) were long ago epoxy sealed and painted over,
all screw heads filled with epoxy, etc. Having taken another similar
window apart last year, and remembering the stripped screws and split teak
strips, I wonder if there are any tips out there.

I remember seeing on TV some screwdriver bits advertised which seemed to
have sharp edges with points to dig in and hold for removing difficult
screws (? a Bob Villa special). Anyone familiar with these?

Thanks.
