I've had a Flagship Marine 16000 btu air/electric heat unit installed
for nearly a year. I am very happy with performance, price and
quality. The construction is better than a Cruisair unit I just saw
and seems to be comparable or better than my old MarineAir. I think
the electric heat idea is a good one. In our Tennessee winters the
cold water limited the effectiveness of the reverse air heating unit.
No running water is needed for the electric heat so that system can
be shut down for the season.

The installation, wiring and plumbing is simple especially if you are
replacing an old unit. The electrical relay that cuts your water pump
on and off when the compressor comes on is a good idea. Flagship's
owner is very helpful.

I would heartily recommend this brand, and I will be buying another
when my second old MarineAir unit finally dies.
