Another well known Spanish Wells pilot is Broadshad Pinder also known as
A-1 Broadshad or A-1 Pilot. Broadshad also brings Johnny Cakes (sort of
like english muffins) to his potential clients. I was also concerned about
finding one of these pilots but trust me they will find you. They run
around in 13' whaler type boats. Spanish Wells is not that big a place and
these guys know every boat that goes in and out.

The trip over to Harbor Island is spectacular and it is even nicer being a
passenger on your own boat. Broadshad also claims to have invented the
lobster condos and he is a real character. Getting into Spanish Wells is
easy. You use the pilots for the trip from Spanish Wells to Harbor Island
which is in between the reef and the beach.
