Hello All,

I would wait a little bit until some of our resident guru's weighed in on
the dual band question I raised. Remember, in the EU they operate marine
radar exclusively on the lower 9 Ghz portion of X band. Here in the States,
Canada, South and Central America and the Aisa Pacific region there are a
huge number of lower 2 Ghz S band radar units. I am wondering, to the point
of posting 2 nearly redundant posts, if we would be buying false security if
we went with a unit that does not serve both bands?

I questioned the customer service group at Sea Me about the likelihood of
producing the product for both bands. No answer yet. I'll post a gist of
their response once it arrives.

Regards to All,

Frank & Claudette Weismantel
