In addition to the usual collection of Rule pumps, I installed a couple of
ordinary sump pumps from Home Depot. They are almost all synthetic material
and come with float switches. The big plus is they were designed to lift
water and produce a greater volume than the Rule pumps. Only condition is
that you have 110 volts available but that is always the case on Rana.
PS: I was able to share the hose for the manual bilge pump with one of the
pumps because they have similar size hoses.
PPS: Buy the optional one way valve if you get one of these sump pumps.
