Mike - what is your general opinion of WAAS? Obviously, all other
factors being equal, more accuracy is always better, but with selective
availability (SA) turned off and inherent chart inaccuracies, does it
become a moot point?
I don't really want to fire-up the WAAS debate again, I was just
responding the post that indicated a desire to wait until Deluo had a
WAAS GPS. According to some non-scientific independent testing, the
Deluo seems to be very sensitive in terms of satellite acquisition and
accuracy (www.gpspassion.com). Apparently due to different installed
firmware and associated algorithm.
Usual caveats -
Peter

Peter,
There is an area from about Oregon North or where the only available
WAAS
satellite was not visible.
This may have changed, I have not tried again recently.
Maybe I will today.
