Subject: TWL: "witch hazel" as a treatment for marine toilets?

You should not pour witch hazel into the head. Most witch hazel products
contain a significant amount of alcohol--and this would be detrimental to
the seals in the pumps. There is no subastance that would act as
bacterocidial product--even if this was desirable--which it probably is not.
