Eric Thoman wrote that only "T" rated electrical switches,available by order
from Lowes, should be used for dc..regular household switches do not last
long he said.

Does anyone know WHY this happens? I though all switches were primarily rated
via energy carrying capability, measured via watts...."Watts" so different
about dc??
