I find myself in a similar position to Phil, interested in the best ideas
for trawlers in the low $100Ks. And having thought lots about the idea of
living aboard for half the year and having occasional guests, have already
focused on Al's response and am looking at doublecabin/sundeck trawlers as a
first choice. So expanding on Phil's question, what do people feel are the
best trawler models to look into if I want to minimize the maintenance of
teak decks and exterior trim (while still having a nautical appeal), avoid
eventual problems/replacement of iron fuel tanks, minimize possibility of
leaky windows and have lot of time to cruise the East Coast?
