There's plenty more where that came from, and I for one am printing it out
for permanent etching into my brain. For those of us who do our boating on
any large-ish bodies of water these are wise words and oft forgot. The worst
seas I ever went through on the Chesapeake Bay were "1 to 2 foot seas"
according to NOAA. The seaweed on my flybridge does not suggest that those
wave heights were correct.
Anyone who missed this post of Capt. Mike's should go back and read it.
