Hello all; Especially those in the Seattle area
Did anyone happen to witness or hear about the incident saturday evening
just off Elliott Bay marina.
A freighter was about half a ship's lenght from hitting the breakwall.
Looked like she lost propulsion. Four tugs from two towing companies
responded and the ship was towed away from the breakwall but I think she
touched ground at one point.
The way the hull pivoted given the wind and wave direction certainly made it
look like she was touching.
No anchor line in sight.
