Hi Dale,

Here are a few ideas that come to mind. Presented in no particular order:

Check the Yellow Pages under "Service Station Equipment". In the Seattle
area Ace Tank & Equipment, Northwest Pump & Equipment, and CamCal are the
biggies (I think there are a few more but my crs just kicked in.).

All of those companies sell sight gauge fittings of one sort or another and
may have the metric parts you need. There's also the possibility that, even
though the nut is metric, the threads are actually english.

Another possibility would be to visit Tacoma Screw Products. They don't deal
with sight gauges specifically but they probably have more lines of supply
for anything with threads than anyone else in the area.

Finally, you could try a company that specializes in hydraulic and other
hose fittings. I can't remember the name but I think there is such a place
on 4th a couple of blocks north of Michigan. With the popularity of Japanese
heavy equipment in the northwest there is a pretty good chance that this
sort of outfit could stock what you need.

Metrically yours,

Alex
