In those cases 'Clorox' would remove the stains, bleaching them away and
oxalic acid would do nothing. My observation is that just the opposite
happens: the oxalic acid removes the stain; the 'Clorox' just smells
funny. When you pour 'Clorox' into blackwater (which is what we have
here) it does , indeed, bleach the tannins out.
