The 10" color display has significantly higher resolution than the 7" color
display in the Furuno line. I would think that a 10" down below and a 7" on
the bridge would work out. Consider a combo color radar/chartplotter as a
way of saving money. A dealer should be able to show you the difference
between Navionics and C-Map NT+. Be advised that C-MapNT and NT+ cards for
the Furuno have a metal clip on them that is not found on other C-Map cards.
Lastly, what kind of antenna are you going to choose, the 4KW dome or the
4KW open array?

If you elect to network your Furuno instruments using their proprietary
version of Ethernet TCP/IP, make the dealer install it and make the dealer
responsible for getting it working. Do not DIY the network install as it
sometimes locks up or refuses to "boot." In other words, contract for a
"turn-key" installation.
