This past summer in Nova Scotia I picked up moustache on one side of my
bow(?). (Fair amount of tannins and brown water in many bays.) Anyway, I used
Starbrite Marine Polish which seemed to remove it without much
trouble....it's the same one I use on my topsides instead of wax.
Don't sprays which contain acids damage awlgrip or gelcoat,whichever the case
may be? I'd hate to shorten the life of my finish, especially on the hull
where it's so much out of the sun.
