I'm with Keith on this thread. The numbers I provided on my MT 44 were
based on filling the tanks, running until they were 80% empty, then
filling them again and determining gallons/hour and miles per gallon.
Yes, I did have some idle time included at start up and shut down, fair
and foul tides, and some generator time, but that's the real deal.

All this math is making my hair hurt! Reality is like Georgia tides and
currents, "sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you!"
